2019 Newsletter:

Hello Town of Lyndon Residents. Well it is that time of the year again. I hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving Holiday and we are looking ahead to Christmas. A couple of reminders for the town residents: First there is a Winter Parking Ordinance.  It affects those that live on the following roads: Harbor Lights Road, Silver Sands Rd, Circle Drive, Lake Ellen Drive, Ellen View Road, High Street, and Center Street.

Another important date to reminder is March 31. By this date all dogs need to have current dog licenses. Dog licenses are required for any dog that is 5 months or older. You can pick your dog licenses up at the Town Hall. Remember that proof of current Rabies Certification is required when you license your dog.

One area of concern recently has been a dog at large issue. The town does have an ordinance that prohibits any domestic animal (dog) from running at large. If you have a well-trained dog and are able to keep it under your voice control while you are outside, there is no violation. If you dog, even if trained, leaves your yard to meet someone on the road or chases another animal off your property that would be considered a violation.

I hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday season. As always, any questions can be directed to the Cascade Police Department at 920-838-4311 or email [email protected].

Merry Christmas,

Chief Jason Liermann

Cascade Police Department

2018 Newsletter:

Greetings Town of Lyndon Residents,

The Cascade Police Department has gone through some major changes in 2018. First Chief Cory Roeseler retired from the Police Department in January to pursue his appointment as Sheriff for Sheboygan County and recently was elected to continue his position as Sheriff. We wish Cory the best as he continues in his new role. With Chief Roeseler’s departure, Jason Liermann was appointed to the position of Police Chief.

Currently the Cascade Police Department is staffed by the Police Chief and three part-time officers. The officers are Randy Haag, Kyle Coulter and Tim McNeil. On average the department puts in approximately 50 hours a month, of those 10 hours is dedicated to the township.

In July the Police Department went live with Motorola Solutions (Spillman). This software program is used by all law enforcement agencies in the county and many more throughout the nation. By going with the software, the dispatch center will see the exact location of the Cascade Squad on their map in the dispatch center. This also allows the officers of the police department to see instant records of anyone that has had contact with a law enforcement agency in the county or any other police agency in Wisconsin that runs Motorola Solutions. This software is also a records management software, which means that the police department can better document their calls for service.

If any town resident has a concern, they can reach the police department at the non-emergency number of 920-838-4311 and leave a voicemail if unanswered. A resident can also send an email to the Chief Liermann at [email protected].

The Winter Parking Regulations started on Nov. 15 and are in effect until April 15th. If you live on the following roads, please remember there is no overnight parking from 10 PM to 6 AM to allow for snow removal. The roads are Silver Sands Road, Harbor Lights Road, Ellen View Road, Lake Ellen Drive, Circle Drive, High Street and Center Street. Vehicle found on the road during the above times are subject to a possible parking citation and towing at the owners expense.

Have a safe holiday season,

Chief Jason Liermann
